Shortly after taking over Palisades Pitstop car wash, we came up with the idea of bringing the innovative trash bin cleaning service to Los Angeles.
We have four boys who each has a set of chores. One of these chores is to take out the trash and recycling.
When our boys would come back inside with filthy hands, we realized there must be a better way.
While teaching them responsibility is of utmost importance to us, we certainly do not want to put them in any danger of becoming sick.
Many people don’t realize it because we grow accustomed to thinking that trash bins are, by necessity, filthy.
While it’s true that trash gets messy, there is no reason for bins to become a health hazard.
From this realization came our idea of starting a trash can cleaning truck business as an extension of our car wash.

Some may remember the days of leaving trash right in bags at the curb for the garbage collectors to take away.
Out of sight, out of mind.
When Los Angeles moved to the standardized trash bin, another step was introduced that many homeowners don’t even think of.
We now have these bins that we use year after year to hold everything we want to get rid of.
From things as harmless as old envelopes to as hazardous as raw chicken packages, which everyone knows can contain salmonella.
Dirty diapers, expired food, old leftovers, dog poop bags…the list goes on and gets pretty disgusting.
Over time, our trash bins become hazards teeming with bacteria and viruses. We don’t even think about it, but we come into regular contact with them.

Our trash bin cleaning truck comes right to your home – there’s nothing different you even need to do.
We come after trash collection and our automated truck lifts bins to wash, sanitize, and deodorize them, leaving them looking and smelling brand new.

The process is simple and could not be more convenient. Leave your bins out and we come right to your curb.
Trash, recycle, and compost bins are lifted onto the truck and our technician manually cleans the outside.
While the exterior is being washed with a pressure washing attachment, the truck begins to spray 190-degree water inside the bins.
The water contains a safe and eco-friendly cleaning solution that is sprayed into bins at a 360-degree rotation for one full minute.
The cleaning solution kills harmful germs, bacteria, and viruses.
When the process is finished and the trash bin comes out of the truck, you can see the steam release from the deep clean!
The trash bin cleaning truck then performs a final rinse with the power washer to ensure any excess grime is removed.
Your bins are left neatly at the curb for you to stow away cleanly.
You can customize your trash bin cleaning schedule to meet your own needs. Some people prefer weekly, while others choose a monthly or even quarterly package.
